Thornhill kickstarts development
As Thornhill Heat Exchangers celebrates its 30th year in business, the company has announced a restructure that sees clearer divisions between its specialist areas under a new company, Thornhill Group Ltd. Thornhill Group’s customers will benefit from the significant support its investors are making to push forward Thornhill’s plans for enhancing the high-quality products and responsive services that it is renowned for.
Thornhill Group’s managing director David Lilley says:
“We’re ambitious about our future growth and now have the structure and security to make this a reality. Our aim is to continually enhance our manufacturing output, quality and support services for customers in the UK and overseas.
“There will be no changes for our current customers. People, premises, plant and equipment all remain in place. However, in the longer term, as we expand the business, we are confident that improvements and benefits we achieve will be noticed.”
Thornhill Group comprises three operating divisions:
- Thornhill Engineering Services Ltd – Designs and manufactures large heat exchangers and provides installation and on-site servicing backed by in-house heat exchanger service, repair and refurbishment facilities.
- Thornhill Rubber Ltd – Manufactures plate heat exchanger gaskets and specialist rubber products to the construction industry.
- Thornhill Rail Ltd – Design, manufacture and service of cooler groups and associated equipment for the rail sector.
